Are your paper bags recyclable?
Yes. Our 100 gsm kraft paper bags are recyclable when clean and dry. Place them with normal paper/card recycling.
Are they biodegradable or compostable?
Plain kraft bags are biodegradable and suitable for home composting when clean. Coloured finishes use water-based inks and remain recyclable, but are not compostable.
Are the bags food-safe for takeaway and catering?
Yes, for boxed or wrapped items (cupcakes, deli tubs, meal boxes). For oily food, add a greaseproof liner.
How strong are the twisted handles?
Handles are twisted paper with a reinforced patch. In normal use each bag holds up to ~8 kg.
